ict (information communication technology) GmbH, with their headquarters in Aachen, were founded in 1985 and have since then been taking on various tasks in the fields of planning, development, production and marketing of computer systems und its components, including system and application software.
As a comprehensive service provider in information and communication technology, ict GmbH offers of course, alongside an individual customer advisory service, user trainings and a technical service on site.

Das Qualitätsmanagementsystem von ict GmbH ist nach der aktuellsten ISO-Norm 9001:2008 zertifiziert. Der Entschluss, im Jahr 1996 ein zertifiziertes Qualitätsmanagementsystem (QMS) gemäß DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 einzuführen, ist nicht auf Druck von öffentlichen Auftraggebern und Kunden entstanden, sondern vielmehr durch die gesammelten Erfahrungen und dem Verständnis, dass es sich hierbei um ein Hilfsmittel handelt, ein Unternehmen trotz sich ständig ändernder Anforderungen zu gestalten, zu lenken und stetig zu verbessern. Daher haben wir den Geltungsbereich des Managementsystems für die Unternehmensbereiche, Fertigung und Vertrieb festgelegt. Im Juni 2010 fand die umfangreiche Prüfung aller bestehenden Geschäftsprozesse von ict AG statt. Dabei wurden auch unsere Mitarbeiter zu detaillierten Abläufen und Aufgabeninhalten befragt. Das ISO-Qualitätssiegel konnte im Anschluss der Prüfung erwartungsgemäß gleich im ersten Anlauf ausgestellt werden. Damit ist nun auch urkundlich erneut belegt, dass unsere Qualitätssicherungsmaßnahmen und die Ausbildung unserer Mitarbeiter die internationale Qualitätsmanagementnorm erfïüllen.

Mitte 2010 ging uns die freudig erwartete DIN EN ISO 9001:2008-Urkunde zu, die Sie über den unten angeführten Link abrufen können. Die Zertifizierung gilt uns als zusätzlicher Ansporn, die Qualität unserer Prozesse weiter auszubauen.

2009

ict AG has been run by the current partners and board members Udo Glaser und Oliver Plum since January 2009
With a focus on high -performance computing and computer solutions for business applications as well as the production of customised computer systems, the new business partners go into the 25th year of the company´s history.
Under the slogan „new H(age)PC“ ict AG sets benchmarks in consultancy of everything concerning simulation applications and all computer-intensive tasks. ict helps its clients to increase the speed and efficiency of their most valuable business fields.
Faster solutions for taks help ict clients to achieve swift innovations and in turn, to advance in the market ahead of their competitors.

2008

With the acquisition of Dr. Roehder‘s stake, ict AG shifts its line of business considerably in the direction of digital signage.
The valuable and accredited hpc market continues to be marketed under the hpcLine brand.
In 2008 the business management decides to outsource the DS – digital signage business line as an independent company.

2001

Change of company form from ict GmbH to ict AG information communication technology

ict AG takes on several big projects together with Fujitsu Siemens. Among others, the first water-cooled super computer, which is still in service at Paderborn university to this very day.

2000

ict makes an agreement with Siemens for the joint production of Compute Node.

– foundation of ict St. Petersburg for software development

– contract with Pro7 for the suppy of multimedia solutions for discos, based on digital signage software from the company Scala. Subsequent expansion of solutions for clients such as Burger King and Audi.

1998

1998 saw ict´s entrance into the world of high-performance computers. ict GmbH manufactures computers for Surface Inspection Systems and furthers its co-operation with Siemens Nixdorf with the production of high-performance computers under the lable hpcLine. Under this lable, together with Siemens Nixdorf, high-performance computers are marketed to clients from the areas of research and economy.

1996

From 1991 to 1996 ict´s focus changed from software development to distribution and production of computer solutions. Thus, ict GmbH created the Novell Kompetenz Center in 1992 and started to produce its own PC systems with SNI motherboards from 1996.

1991

By 1991ict GmbH formed many distribution partnerships, with amongst others,Tandon (No.1 supplier of Office PCs) and started its own software development in the Pratice Computer range. Its own FiBU (Financial Accounting) was later substituted by the distribution of the programs Profib and ProLohn (Fibu) and David (Practice Computers).

The foundation of the subsidiary ict GmbH Erfurt rounded up the first 5 years of the company´s history after the fall of the Berlin wall.
On completion of the new office building, ict GmbH moved into its own four walls in 1991.

1985

Dr. Ing. Wolfgang Roehder founded the company ict GmbH as an enginereeing office for computer technology (ICT) in May 1985
At this time, ict developed hard- and software for individual applications, among which particular ict specialist solutions,such as:

- Scientific word processing (WITEX) with printers from Fujitsu

- Fault-tolerant computer systems (BMFT project)

- multi-micro processing systems for increased performance(Dissertation)
